Thank You from United Way
Dear Chamber Members
On behalf of the United Way of Hunt County I would like to thank you all for your donation of $500.00.
In 2011 we were able to help 5647 people in South Hunt County. United Way of Hunt County partners with thirteen agencies to offer social services that cover areas such as health, education and finance.
We see these three areas as the building blocks for a happy healthy life. Our programs include the American Red Cross, Circle Ten Boy Scouts, Boys and Girls Club, CASA of Hunt County, Children’s Center ECI, Health services of North Texas, Hunt County Shared Ministries, North Texas Youth Connection, Raffa Clinic (formerly Pregnancy Resource Clinic, Reading and Radio Resources, Senior Center Resources and Public Transit, Southwestern Diabetic Foundation and Women in Need. Your money will be used to support those services that affect your area, with every cent going to benefit those in Hunt County. It is because of gifts such as yours that we are able to help those that are less fortunate than we are. As you can see, our partners have helped men, women, and children to live a better life. We all know that it takes all of us working together to meet the demands of so many and we are so very grateful to you all for joining our effort to make a difference I our communities.
Sincerely,
Bob Mason
